THERE will be a new look at a Glazebury takeaway.
Plans have been approved by Warrington Borough Council for the Neighbours Food Bar Chinese takeaway on Warrington Road.
As well as the takeaway, the building has a first floor apartment.
However planners ruled there was no a safe escape route should there be a fire.
The owners have therefore come up with a scheme to introduce one.
Plans submitted to Warrington Borough Council stated: "The proposal is to replace the shopfront such that a new final exit can be created to serve as the means of escape from the existing first floor living accommodation. This is a requirement being enforced by the building control under a regularisation application to improve safety for the occupants of the property."
The scheme was approved by the council last week.
