A woman has sadly died following a fall from the roof of a building in Chester.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Lower Bridge Street at 10.20am on Thursday, August 22.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Police were called to reports that a woman had fallen from a roof on Lower Bridge Street, Chester.
"Officers attended the scene along with paramedics, including air ambulance.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those involved, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Although the death is believed to be non-suspicious, enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
