BRIDGEWATER High is celebrating a ‘strong set of results’.

Queues of year 11 students piled in to the school this morning, Thursday, waiting with anticipation to find out if their hard work had paid off.

Brown envelopes held the GCSE results of the class of 2024, with results for the setting revealing to be a total ‘success’.

Principal of Bridgewater, Keiron Powell, spoke of the ‘remarkable’ success of his students who achieved a strong set of results once again.

The GCSE grading system in England uses a number scale from 1 to 9, with 1 being the lowest and 9 being the highest.

He said: “Today, we celebrate their extraordinary accomplishments, showcasing once again why we take immense pride in their determination and dedication.

“The results reflect the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and an unyielding commitment to excellence.

“As a year group, their success is measured in many ways beyond merely GCSE exam results, but their smiles today make their hard work and determination all worthwhile.

“As the students step into the next phase of their education journey, we extend our best wishes.

“On behalf of everyone at Bridgewater High School, I would like to wish our students all the best in their future endeavours.

"With the spirit they have shown, I am confident that their journey of success will continue.”
