A CHEEKY ‘playful’ one-year-old pup who loves stealing socks is looking for a loving home.
Dashing Diesel has a ‘heart full of love’ and is looking for an owner to share it with.
Warrington Animal Welfare stated the one-year-old puppy has been ‘passed around through no fault of his own’.
Diesel is a cross between two extremely popular breeds, a King Charles Spaniel and a beagle.
And the Warrington animal shelter says he is ‘ready to settle down and be your loyal companion’.
In an appeal on social media to find a new home for the pooch, the animal shelter said: “Diesel is currently living with another dog and a cat, and while he hasn’t lived with children before, he’s shown that he’s good around them.
“We’d consider a home with dog-savvy children who understand the needs of an energetic pup.
“This clever boy loves to use his nose and would thrive with an active owner who can continue his training.
“He’s already housetrained, great in the home, and can be left alone for short periods without any issues.
“While Diesel walks well on a lead, his recall training needs some work, but he’s eager to learn. Plus, he travels like a champ in the car.”
The shelter added that the pup does have a few ‘quirks’ – these include a love of stealing socks.
As well as being very protective over his food.
