A MUSICAL duo who started their careers in the 1970s will be making their way to Warrington for their 50th anniversary.
Mick Foster, 77, and Tony Allen, 72, are best known as the Irish musical duo, Foster and Allen.
Since they started their career in 1975, the pair have released a whopping 52 albums.
This year will mark Foster and Allen’s 50th year in the music industry, and to celebrate the pair will be embarking on a UK concert tour.
The duo, who perform country and folk songs, have released a number of songs including A Bunch of Thyme, which became their first number one single.
The tour will be making its way to Warrington on Monday, November 11, when fans can to hear their hit singles, as well as some new work from their latest album, We’ll Meet Again.
“From the opening title track, the evergreen, We’ll Meet Again, to our rendition of popular classics such as Grace, The Cliffs of Dooneen, and Cotton Fields Back Home, Foster and Allen are well and truly back in stride,” said Mick and Tony.
The Foster and Allen 50 Years of Hits concert will start at 7.30 at Parr Hall and tickets start at £27.
