A STOCKTON Heath shop has reopened after undergoing refurbishment.
St Rocco’s Hospice Charity Shop now has a fresh new feel and style.
It is now a boutique store, and shoppers will be able to browse through a wide range of hand selected premium pre-loved items at affordable prices.
Each year, St Rocco’s shops raise more than £130,000 which goes towards clinical and operational costs of the hospice.
Prior to the opening which took place on Saturday, Jo McManus, shop manager, said: "It will be great to bring the shop up to the high standard of other retailers within the village.
“A lot of hard work from our amazing team has gone into this venture and I can’t wait for the big reveal. It's been a very busy time but so worth it for St. Rocco's.
“The new Boutique store will have a clean, fresh feel to it and will offer shoppers the chance to purchase the same high-quality products with a new autumn range soon to filter in.”
St Rocco’s has thanked Morris and Spottiswood for gifting their time to help with modernising the shop and has thanked its dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time to allow the stores to function.
Jo added: “The shops are a great place to volunteer so if anyone is looking to join the team, we have a few slots available.
“Please speak to us if you are interested as we would love you to join us.”
If you have any donations, particularly clothes, shoes and handbags, you can drop these off during the opening hours of the Stockton Heath store.
