WARRINGTON Market is set to fill with beer and music for this year’s Oktoberfest celebrations.
The annual Bavarian beer festival began in Germany in the 1800s and has spread across the world, with millions taking part in the traditional celebration every year.
This year, Warrington Market will be hosting an evening of fun, food and music on Saturday, October 5.
Mouthwatering food and the finest beer can be expected, accompanied by live music from The Oktoberfest Band, a five-piece oompah group dressed in lederhosen.
“Dance and sing along to classic tunes and festive favourites that will have everyone in high spirits,” the event description reads.
“Whether you’re a beer aficionado, a foodie, or just looking for a great time, Warrington Market Oktoberfest is the place to be.”
The event is completely free, with no tickets required, and will start at 6pm.
