RESIDENTS in one area of Warrington have been unable to open their windows due to an infestation of flies after their bins have been left uncollected for four weeks.
Images show the scale of rubbish amassed over the month, reportedly, on Alder Lane in Orford, as resident still await a bin collection.
The main affected areas on the street seem to be the rows of apartment blocks nearing to the end of Alder Lane where it joins on to Winwick Road.
One resident reported the appalling sight of the overflowing bins which the residents living within the apartment blocks share.
They said: “Residents have been left with no bin collections for four weeks, they can't open their windows for flies and the dreadful smell.

Countless bin bags can be seen situated in front of the large bins, along with cardboard and other litter.
The issue of the absence of bin collections on the road has been reported to the council.
Warrington Borough Council has been contacted regarding the issue for comment.
