MARKS and Spencer has given a first look at upgrades to its Warrington store.
Work has been underway at the retailer’s Gemini store for a number of weeks as part of a ‘top-to-bottom transformation’.
M&S says the aim is to ‘enhance the shopping experience of customers’, and it has thanked customers and staff for their patience while the work is carried out.
It has now shared photos of work completed in the food hall area of the store, which includes more space for fresh and frozen goods and new tills.
It comes after Marks and Spencer reopened its revamped café area recently.
A spokesman for M&S Gemini said: “The wait is almost over. We are thrilled to reveal the first half of our food hall transformation.
“Our newly expanded fresh produce and frozen sections, along with new checkouts and quicker ways to pay, offer a bigger, better and fresher shopping experience for all our customers at M&S Gemini.
“Thank you to our hardworking colleagues and contractors for making this transformation possible, and of course to our customers for sticking with us while works continue in store.
“We hope you can see the end results are well worth it.”
