A DEVELOPMENT of six homes could be built on a spot of land on a busy road in Culcheth.
Planners have recommended the scheme, on Holcroft Lane, be approved by councillors when they meet on Thursday.
It would see four detached dwellings and two custom build apartments built on the land with associated infrastructure and new access.
The land is earmarked for development and as such councillors say members of the development management committee should approve the plan.
Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council have warned that Holcroft Lane is a busy link between Irlam, Warrington, Leigh, the Warburton Bridge and M6.
They say more off road parking is required and/or fewer properties built.
And they added that neighbours’ comments regarding the bin store need to be considered.
Three residents have also objected to the plan.
It will be discussed in the meeting at the Town Hall at 6pm on Thursday.
