A NEW care home in Warrington will bring more than 40 job roles to the area.

Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex needs, is now recruiting for its care home in Woolston as the home prepares to open two brand-new units.

With not long to go until the units officially open to its residents in October, Woolston House, is looking for ‘passionate and caring’ healthcare workers to join its new team.

The care home, located on Long Barn Lane, supports adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro-disabilities including brain injuries and strokes, Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease, as well as physical disabilities.

It currently has 26 large bedrooms, set to expand to 40, each with an en-suite. The home has communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, sensory bathrooms and a large accessible garden.

Among the new job vacancies on offer in the wake of its opening, there will be around 30 health care assistant roles,10 nursing roles and other care home support jobs available.

An open day will be hosted at the home on September 25 between 10am and 4pm, so those interested in the new roles can tour the care facility and meet with current residents and team members.

They will then be able to meet the recruitment team, who will be there to answer questions and help with applications.

Successful candidates will start by completing a comprehensive induction, training and team building programme.

Alongside this mandatory training, new team members will also have access to the ‘Aspire’ Leadership Programme, which teaches the essential skills and behaviours on the foundations of leadership, including personal effectiveness, leading a team and effective coaching.
