A COMMERCIAL premises was evacuated following reports of a fire this morning, Wednesday.
Three fire engines from Penketh, Warrington and Birchwood fire stations were dispatched to the incident.
This came after Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a blaze at a property on Jubilee Way in Orford.
Having arrived at the scene shortly before 11am, firefighters found that people had already been evacuated from the building.
The incident turned out to be a charred fridge that was smoking, and it was removed from the building.
A fire service spokesman confirmed: “Everyone was accounted for and no injuries were reported.”
