WI-FI is down for residents across Cheshire.

TalkTalk has reported a loss of broadband service in Northwich and Warrington.

Customers in this area have been without the internet for at least 17 hours.

However, engineers are now working to try and resolve the issue.

A TalkTalk spokesperson said: “We're aware that some customers in the Northwich and Warrington areas are currently experiencing a loss of service.

“We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and assure you that Freedom Fibre engineers are working to restore service as a priority.”

According to the TalkTalk website, all of the firm's other services are fully functional across the country.

This includes phone, TV, mobile, email, and websites.
