A TALENTED care professional from Grappenhall has made it to the grand final of a new competition.

Amy Boyle, who works at Right at Home Lymm and Warrington South on Davies Way, has made it to the grand final of Homecare’s Got Talent.

Talented care professionals have been taking part in the competition in the hopes of winning a grand prize package, which includes £1,000 and an all-inclusive holiday.

Over the past few weeks, a panel of celebrity judges, including Eurovision singer Cheryl Baker and star of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Tanya Bardsley, have carefully assessed the range of talents on display.

Amy, whose talent is singing, has now been selected as one of the top 12 acts and will compete in the grand final at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in York.

The 26-year-old from Grappenhall will be singing the incredibly challenging song, ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ for the judges tomorrow night, Thursday.

“I’m extremely excited to have made it to the final of Homecare’s Got Talent, and to be part of such a talented group of social care professionals,” she said.

“If I won, I have no words to say how amazing that would feel, and a holiday would be fantastic.”

Homecare’s Got Talent is a bran-new competition celebrating those in the homecare sector, and all funds raised for the event will go to The Care Workers Charity, which aims to improve the financial, professional and mental wellbeing of care workers.

“I am absolutely delighted that Amy’s amazing talent has been recognised and never had a doubt that she was good enough to make it through to the final,” said Clare Coke, registered manager at Right at Home Lymm and Warrington South.
