AN artisan market, live music and free family fun can be expected at Bents Garden Centre this weekend.
This Saturday and Sunday, Independent Street will be taking over the popular cheshire garden centre for one weekend only.
Helping out families with a free day out, the artisan market organisers are putting on live entertainment, activities for the kids to enjoy and an array of market stalls you can stroll around and have a browse at your own leisure.
Lisa Cowley, director of Independent Street, commented on the event, saying: “As a mummy myself I understand the summer holidays can be a stressful time for families.
“The expense of a day out and trying to find something to keep everyone entertained.
“Which is why this weekend at Bents Garden Centre we are putting on plenty of children’s activities and some completely free of charge to go alongside our awesome Artisan Market.
“There will also be live music both days and a pop-up vinyl record stall on Saturday, so pull up a seat kick back and relax.”
More than 70 stalls will be present both days.
On Saturday you can expect live music from Suzie Whitlow, as well as a free kids craft workshop by Create It and face painting.
Meanwhile Sunday will see live music performed by Olly Flavell, a paint workshop carried out by Carrington Craft and face painting provided by The Fairy Face Painter.
The Bents Artisan Market will be held in the outside car park area by the Pet Café.
Matthew Bent, managing director at Bents Garden & Home says: “We are absolutely delighted to be hosting another Artisan Market weekend with Independent Street.
