WORKING from her home beauty room, Jade Mather craved the salon and studio vibe of working with other technicians and therapists and welcoming customers and clients through the door.
So, just under 12 months ago she opened LUXE Salon & Training in Stockton Heath and hasn’t looked back.
The business has gone from strength to strength and has just picked up our most recent Best of 2024 award – Warrington’s Best for Beauty.

Ten beauty salons and technicians made the shortlist for the latest Best of 2024 award and LUXE salon & Training has taken this year’s coveted crown officially giving the town’s best glow up.
Jade Mather opened LUXE Salon & Training on Fairfield Road in Stockton Heath in November last year having previously been working from home.

She has worked in other salons in the past but decided to set up at home after the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions lifted due to economic uncertainty.
Salon owner and beauty therapist Jade has always lived in Warrington so she wanted to open up her business in the town.
Jade, who is 33, said: “The premises in Stockton Heath became available last year and I felt like it was meant to be.
“The previous business was a florist, who did my wedding flowers, and I knew it was in the perfect location to set up a new salon for hair and beauty.
“I offer a range of treatments and self-employed and employed positions to the local community.

“At LUXE, we offer a wide range of treatments - hair, nails, beauty and aesthetics.
“I am from a beauty background - I specialise in brows, lashes and semi-permanent makeup.
“I have been in the beauty industry for 12 years and I am so lucky that I really do love my job.
“Some clients have been with me from the very start.
“You really get to know each other through appointments – we share their experiences and life milestones.
“The building is a lovely building and when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance to take it on and invested in renovating the space into a lovely salon, that I knew would attract the very best team - which it has!
“We have carefully selected our staff to ensure that we provide a wide range of treatments, at the very highest of standards.
“Maisie our nail technician won Warrington’s Best for Nails in May and I firmly believe that all our girls are on par with this, within their own treatments and field.
“As we offer such a wide array of treatments, it really is all under one roof.”

Jade said: “I believe customers love coming to LUXE as we try to make the experience as personal as possible.
“We pride ourselves in providing the best tailored services and go above and beyond for everyone that comes through the door.
“We are all small businesses under one roof, therefore want the salon to be successful.
“We all put in extra effort to make each client feel special and achieve their desired look.”
Jade added: “All our girls are self-employed and run their own individual businesses under the LUXE salon roof.
“We have such an amazing team and all the girls have a common goal in striving to grow our own businesses and client base, which in turn creates an amazing environment for us all to work in and for our clients to enjoy their treatments in.
“So many of my original brow/lash clients now use the other girls’ services in the salon and visa versa.
“We all know each other’s clients and I’m so proud of what we have created.
“We also have our own salon sausage dog Dolly, who greets all our clients and is always up for a snuggle.”

And what about making the shortlist for Warrington’s Best for Beauty?
Jade said: “I’m so thrilled to even be nominated never mind win!
“I’m so happy with what the salon as a whole has achieved in just under a year of being open.
“The best is yet to come!”
She added: “Thank you to all our amazing customers who took the time vote and share and spread the word.
“We are so grateful for your continued support and loyalty - we’ll repay you with the best treatments in town!”
She added: “A huge well done to all the other salons in Warrington that were put forward - we certainly had the strongest competition and we wish you all the very best in keeping Warrington glam with us.”
