A TRADER catered for a wedding at Warrington Market this weekend.

La Cuccina, which opened at the award-winning Time Square venue last year, helped a couple to celebrate their special day at the weekend.

The family-run business, owned by Chapelford resident Cy Beautier, hosted around 40 guests for a special wedding dinner.

The guests dined outside of Warrington Market in the sun where the seating area had been extended.

As well as delicious food, they enjoyed a DJ which was hosted by Pink Leaf Cocktail and singers who were organised by Hop Emporium.

A beautiful flower arrangement by market trader PaulAnne Flowers was also on display.

The bride and groom, who are regular customers at La Cuccina, gave Cy ‘free reign’ with their wedding menu.

For starters, there was a selection of cicchetti, bite-sized nubbles, including smoked salmon, parma nduja and honey, and arancini balls.

And for mains, Cy and his team prepared sharing boards of their signature dishes including porchetta, fillet steak, grilled seabass, and Italian beef fries.

Talking to the Warrington Guardian, Cy said: “I felt extremely humbled that the bride and the groom allowed us to cater for their very special day, and being given so much freedom regarding the food.

“For a very first wedding, I couldn’t have asked for any better and the La Cuccina team made it possible, they all worked so hard.

“But I really just want to say thank you to the bride and groom for allowing us to be part of their special day and to market for supporting us with the event.”

With the register office next door, Cy believes the market is the ‘perfect setting’ for weddings.
