A SHOP that has stood in a Warrington village for seven years has closed its doors.

Located in Lymm, Ruby & Harry offered a selection of balloons, partyware, gifts, cards, and sweets.

It supplied personalised, bespoke, and one-of-a-kind helium and air-filled designs to its customers.

Due to a number of factors, including footfall and the economy, the business has now closed. Although this ‘isn’t the end of the road’ for Ruby & Harry.

On Saturday, the owner, Jen, revealed that it was a wrap for the shop.

A Facebook post reads:  “Thank you to each and every one of you who have supported my business in one way or another over the past seven years.

“Those of you who have supported me with your words of encouragement, all the amazing children I have met, and all of the friends we have made, thank you.

“This isn’t the end of the road for Ruby & Harry but it still feels like the end of an era and I am sad to leave the village.

“With the way our village footfall is, coupled with the economy, I just couldn’t do it anymore but, there’s still plenty of businesses that are here, so please use them where possible.

“My shop and all the memories I have, will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss you all deeply.

“Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, for everything.”

Many customers took to the comments to share their sadness at the closure. They also shared their fond memories of the shop.

“Well done on everything you’ve achieved Jenny and the thousands of smiles you’ve allowed to shine on your customers faces,” one person said.

Another said: “Best of luck whatever comes next for you. Your lovely shop will be missed.”
