A POLICE helicopter was circling Warrington in a search for a missing person.
Officers were alerted to reports of a missing person at around 11.30am this morning, Friday.
The individual was reported to have gone missing in the Old Hall area.
Local officers, supported by the police helicopter, conducted a search of the area.
The helicopter was heard circling various areas including over Warrington Hospital, Bewsey Park and Winwick Road.
Cheshire Police confirmed the man was located safe and well shortly after 1.20pm this afternoon.
