IT is good to be good, says the manager of a Warrington nursery following a glowing report from Ofsted.
ABC 123 Day Nursery in Orford was described as a place where children feel ‘safe and secure’, according to education watchdogs after a visit in July.
The nursery was rated ‘good’, with inspectors describing leaders as ‘engaging and vibrant’.
The Manager, Karen Edmonds was noted as creating an ‘ambitious’ curriculum that promotes a love for reading, stories and rhymes.
There is also a good support system in place for children with Special Educational Needs and leaders and staff work together with parents to identify the children who require additional support and early identification.
This is continued by working closely with external professionals to implement targets and tailored interventions.
Lastly, inspectors stated that parents speak very highly of ABC 123 Day Nursery.
Nursery manager, Karen Edmonds, commented on the inspection, saying: “Being a parent myself, I understand how daunting it can be to find a setting suitable for parent's needs and circumstances, as well as for their child.
“This is why we are so passionate about creating a homely, supportive experience for parents as well as children.
“We aim for a nurturing environment, where children are happy and thrive. I am so pleased the inspector was able to both experience this for herself and hear it directly from our families. It's good to be 'good.”
