TWO fire engines rushed to a fire in a residential property late last night, Wednesday.
Crews from Warrington and Penketh fire stations attended Plumtre Avenue in Bewsey following reports of a fire in a flat.
This came after Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the blaze shortly before 10pm.
A fire service spokesman said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in a first-floor flat.
“Nobody was reported as harmed and all persons were accounted for.
“The cause is believed to have been accidental.”
