A MAN from Great Sankey died of an accidental overdose in his bedroom after he was last seen alive two days prior.
Cheshire Coroners’ Court heard on Wednesday that Patrick Finn, who lived in Great Sankey, was found dead at his home on April 2.
The 32-year-old was in his bedroom when he was found by a member of family, who was unable to wake him.
The court heard that Mr Finn was last seen alive on March 31 at around 11pm.
Paramedics were called, who attended and confirmed that he had died.
The medical cause of death was determined as opiate or opioid and cocaine toxicity and left ventricular hypertrophy, which is where the walls of the heart thicken and become stiff.
The inquest into his death, which took place on Tuesday, determined that Patrick had died of an accidental overdose of illicit drugs.
