GULLIVER’S World is to stage an incredible fireworks event to bid goodbye to the summer season.

The Old Hall theme park is holding its Summer Sparks Spectacular event on Saturday, August 31.

There will be extended opening hours between 10.30am and 8.30pm, with a fireworks display happening afterwards at around 8:45pm.

Resort director Craig Clews said: “This year, we are celebrating our 35th birthday at Gulliver’s World, and it is another superb summer for the resort.

“We wanted to ensure a spectacular end to the season, and what better way than with a jaw-dropping fireworks display.

“It is bound to be a busy, action-packed day, but if you book early, you can get the best deal.”

Day tickets to Gulliver’s World Summer Sparks Spectacular start at £22 per person.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the more than 50 rides and attractions at the resort, which include, The Pirate Ship, The Wriggler, Desperado Drop, The Antelope Wooden Coaster, Togo Tower, and animatronic dinosaurs.

Gulliver’s World also offers a variety of accommodation options if visitors decide to stay over, including unicorn, cowboy and pirate-themed rooms.
