MANCHESTER’S ‘number one Indian restaurant’ will be opening in Warrington.
It will open in the site of the former Cardamon Indian Restaurant in Stockton Heath.
The eatery closed in May after sitting on London Road for more than 17 years and owners said the announcement was made with ‘sincere regret and sadness’.
Residents were ‘gutted’ following the closure.
But now signage has been put in place outside the site revealing that a new business will be opening soon.
It reads: “Manchester’s number 1 Indian restaurant coming soon to Stockton Heath.”
It is not the only new business that will be moving into the village.
The Coffee House will be moving into the former Costa next month, meanwhile Juniper will open in what was Tomahawk, and Phoenix Bar and Grill now stands where The Slug and Lettuce once did.
