A HUGE search was carried out around the town centre last night to locate a missing person.
Police officers were alerted to reports of a missing man at Warrington District General Hospital at around 6.30pm yesterday evening, Monday.
A police helicopter was deployed and was heard circling various areas of Warrington during the search.
Cheshire Police confirmed the man was located safe and well shortly after 8pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At around 6.30pm police were called to reports of a missing man at Warrington District General Hospital.
“Local officers, supported by the police helicopter, conducted a search of the area and the man was located safe and well shortly after 8pm.”
