POLICE have issued a CCTV still of a man they wish to speak to following the theft of chairs and stools from a bar.
At around 7am on Saturday, June 19, two unknown offenders stole approximately 30 chairs and 45 stools from Savannah 19 bar on Common Lane in Culcheth.
The bar has since closed down due to the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis ‘taking a toll’ on the business.
A month on from the theft, Cheshire Police officers investigating the incident have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
PC Molly O'Kell said: “As part of our enquiries, we want to identify and speak to the man in the CCTV images, as we believe he may be able to assist.
“If you think you recognise him or know who he is, please call the team here at Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 1859299, or give us the details via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us
“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
Information can be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers.org.uk
