A DRIVER was recorded hitting shocking speeds in a residential area of Warrington.
Officers from Westbrook Police recently deployed a speeding device on Kingswood Road, a 30mph zone.
The device was in place for four days and during this time, 3,519 vehicles passed it.
Officers have now revealed the results recorded by the device.
The highest speed recorded was a shocking 56mph.
While the average speed recorded was 28mph.
A spokesperson for Westbrook Police said: “Please watch your speed especially during the school holidays.”
