CONGESTION is building along the M6 northbound in Warrington following an accident.
One lane has been closed due to the accident which took place this afternoon, Wednesday, between junction 20 M56 J9 (Lymm Interchange) to junction 21 A57 Manchester Road (Woolston).
Queues of traffic are forming all the way back to junction 19 (Knutsford).
National Highways expect the scene to clear by 4.45pm this afternoon.
