POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for help in finding a man reported missing from his home.
Ian Appleton, who has links to Warrington, has been missing since yesterday morning, Tuesday.
The 59-year-old is from Haydock and was last seen at around 7.50am on Bradlegh Road in Newton-le-Willows.
He was driving a grey or bronze coloured Honda Civic with the registration plate DA08 ZZP.
Ian is described as being 5ft 8” tall and of a medium build, with short brown hair and a wearer of glasses.
He was wearing a grey shirt, black suit trousers and black shoes when he was last seen.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: “Ian is known to frequent St Helens and Warrington.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him. Please pass on any sightings of Ian.”
