MEET this woman from Orford who will have her own DJ set at Creamfields for the second year running.

After loving harder styles of music since high school and always being curious about DJing, Hannah Taylor started to learn the skill back in 2019.

Her partner Mike showed her how to mix, and from there, Hannah just couldn’t stop.

This was just before the first lockdown, but that didn’t stop the former Beaumont Collegiate Academy pupil.

Hannah carried on learning through the pandemic, putting on livestreams and uploading mixes to YouTube and SoundCloud.

And she has since played gigs all over – including in Ibiza.

In fact, last year, Hannah, who has a background in fashion design, was asked to perform at Creamfields Music Festival.

She opened the Hardstyle arena on the Friday of the festival in what she described was ‘absolutely incredible’.

This year, Hannah has been asked back to Creamfields and this time she will be playing a 90-minute DJ set on the Sunday of the festival in the Full On arena.

She told the Warrington Guardian: “I am so excited and I am really grateful to have this opportunity.

“It is like a dream, it really is something that you dream of.

“I just can’t wait."

In terms of what festivalgoers can expect from Hannah’s set, she describes her music as high energy, bounce, hard dance, with a bit of donk in there.

She is already working on a number of mashups and tracks to play for the dance music lovers who will be flocking to the fields of Daresbury over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
