LOOKING for a fun, feel good show that will leave you with a smile on your face (and the taste of hairspray)?
Then you best head down to Manchester to watch Hairspray The Musical.
The show's UK tour is currently on at the Palace Theatre and it is worth a watch - without a doubt.
It follows the story of big hearted Tracy Turnblad and her new friends the spirited Seaweed and his sister Little Inez, heartthrob Link Larkin and the resolute Motormouth Maybelle as they strive to change the world.
Having grown up watching the film and with the soundtrack on repeat, I had high hopes for his production.
And I was not disappointed.
The show was uplifting and packed with excitement and energy, while still delivering an important and moving message of tolerance and showing the fight against racial discrimination.
From opening with Good Morning Baltimore and closing with You Can't Stop The Beat, the audience was gripped - and dancing - the entire time.
But what made the show was the incredibly talented cast.
Alexandra Emerson-Kirby brought big and bold vocals as Tracy Turnblad, while Neil Hurst played the perfect Edna Turnblad, making the theatre echo with laughter.
The roaring applause and standing ovation at the end of the show really sums up just how electrifying Hairspray The Musical is.
It's one you won't want to miss.
It is on at the Palace Theatre Manchester until July 27.
