THE most expensive and cheapest streets in Warrington to buy a home have been revealed.

Data provided by fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the borough.

The priciest street in Warrington was found to be Firs Lane in Appleton.

Four homes sold under the WA4 5LD postcode for an average of £1,495,000 in the last five years.

Coming in as the second most expensive street to own a house in the town is Cliff Lane in Grappenhall.

Here, three homes under the WA4 2TS postcode sold for an average of £996,666.

Meanwhile, Lyons Lane, Appleton, was named the third most expensive street, with three homes being sold at an average price of £987,500 under the WA4 5JH postcode.

But moving towards the opposite end of the spectrum, the data revealed the streets in Warrington with the cheapest house prices based on previous house sales.

The first and least expensive street is Greenings Court in Orford.

Six homes were sold during the last five years at an average price of £76,166 within the WA2 7GH postcode.

The second cheapest street in Warrington was named as Dutton Court, in town centre.

From 2019, eight homes in the WA1 2BE postcode sold for an average of £76,625.

And lastly, the third cheapest street was found to be Finsbury Close in Great Sankey.

A total of 14 homes were purchased during the last five years for an average price of £81,321.

The average house price of homes in Warrington in 1995 was £59,855.

A decade on in 2005 there was an dramatic increase to an average of £153,400. However, in 2015 the increase in house prices moved only marginally in comparison to £178,973.

As of this year, the current average house price in the borough is £246,022.
