A MULTI award-winning hair salon in Warrington has been handed another national award – its seventh in less than a decade.

Kayleigh Louise Hair & Beauty Salon in Padgate has created a prestigious name for itself in the beauty world over the last eight years since first opening its doors on Martin Avenue.

Owner Kayleigh Edwards set up the salon with her husband back in 2016 and since then it has gone from strength to strength.

The 31-year-old told the Warrington Guardian that the salon has had a recent success winning a national award for best salon décor in the UK.

Speaking on the most recent win for the business, she said: “Over the eight years of running Kayleigh Louise hair and beauty salon we have won six awards throughout the UK and north west.

“So last year I wanted to go in for something a little different, so we decided to enrol in the UK hair and beauty awards for best salon décor.

“This June they had their ceremony but unfortunately, we did not attend as I had just given birth to my little boy but I watched the ceremony on the telly.

“We came first out of two thousand applicants.”

The salon owner explained how last year her and her husband bought some land on the row of shops where her former salon was situated and built their very own salon.

“It took 18 months start to finish, it was a very stressful but rewarding experience but also a very proud moment in my life and something I can call my own. All the interior design was done by myself and my husband.”

She added how ‘special’ it was for the couple and their family business to be recognised by the national and prestigious awards once again.

“It’s amazing to be recognised not only for our talents but the effort we have put into our salon to make it different from the rest.”
