A WARRINGTON restaurant welcomed a very special visitor over the weekend.
On Sunday, football legend Sir Alex Ferguson paid a visit to Choy Hing Village in Grappenhall.
Sir Alex enjoyed some delicious Chinese food and he even took the time to take pictures with staff, many of whom are football fans, and in particular, Manchester United supporters.
Owners Kieng Tang and Kwun Chan told the Warrington Guardian: “We were delighted to welcome the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson – what a privilege!
“We hope to see him again soon.”
The Choy Hing has stood in Grappenhall for more than 35 years.
It is known throughout the community for its tasty food and its Lunar New Year celebrations.
