SCOUTS from Penketh are fundraising to support a trip to Switzerland next summer.
Latham Hall Scouts are running a summer fair on July 27 to help raise money to take 20 young Scouts to Kandasteg Switzerland in 2025!
The scouts have been involved in a number of fundraising events over the past few months to help raise the funds to get to the Kandasteg International Scouts Centre.
For some it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The event will be supporting local businesses on the day, and helping raise money in return.
Expect lots of games and stalls being run by the scouts and parent helpers, such as bacon butty stall, tombola, cake stall, tuck shop, candy floss, key game, dice game, guess how many sweets in the jar and much more.
There is also a fantastic raffle with some excellent prizes coming from local supportive businesses such as Arnold Clark Gemini, Decathlon Warrington, Max's Mobile Car Wash Penketh, Dead Eyes Warrington, Swim Warrington and many more!
This event, at Latham Hall, is free. Doors open at 12pm and close at 4pm.
Everyone is welcome and if anyone would like to donate to the young people, visit https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/KrazyRaces28thWarrington?utm_term=jgg9Gb2KA
