At around 12.15am, in the early hours of Friday, June 28, two men approached a man who was in his car on Fallow Close in Clock Face, St Helens.

They punched him, took his car keys from the ignition, damaged his vehicle and ran away from the area.

Later that morning, one of the suspects was detained by the victim and officers on Beechwood Close.

An 18-year-old man from Warrington was arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken to a police station in Merseyside.
