ROADS across Warrington are heavily congested this morning following the closure of the M62.
A crash between two HGVs and a car has closed the motorway westbound between junctions nine for Warrington and eight for Burtonwood.
Emergency services say the closure will be in place for several hours.
There are severe delays on roads across the town and heading towards the M6.
Drivers are advised to follow diversions or find alternative routes and allow extra time for their journeys.
