A WARRINGTON business has been named and shamed in HMRC’s list of deliberate tax defaulters.

Reports released every quarter by the Revenue and Customs government department highlight any business or individual that is judged to have deliberately failed to comply with tax obligations.

Along with those who have made deliberate errors in their tax returns.

What is the punishment for this you may ask? In many cases, a hefty financial penalty.

This year, one Warrington business has appeared on the 2024 list recently published on July 9.

The one and only to be name and shamed is Warrington-based firm iSupply Group Ltd.

Specialising in workforce solutions, the business is head-quartered on Sankey Street in town centre.

The firm received an eye-watering penalty charge of £208,105.06, after a sum of £349,756.49 of tax or duty was questioned between April 1, 2020, to June 30, 2022.

This is not the first time it has encountered the list of shame, as the company was fined in 2023 a sum of £179,230.73.
