ROADWORKS will begin on a major road in Culcheth next month.
Carriageway resurfacing will take place on Warrington Road in the village, starting on August 19.
They will run for eight weeks between 7pm and 1am, as and when signed on site.
Work will take place on the A574 Warrington Road from its junction with Holcroft Lane to its junction with Millbrook Close.
And also from A574 Warrington Road for 50 metres along the following lengths of road: Eden Avenue; Ravenfield Close; Fowley Common Lane and Hey Shoot Lane.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via A580 East Lancashire Road, A572 Newton Road, B5207 Kenyon Lane, B5207 Wilton Lane, B5207 Broseley Lane, B5207 Common Lane and vice versa.
The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing.
