WORK is under way to open a new coffee shop in the town centre.

The Coffee House will be opening inside Cockhedge Shopping Centre which is currently being refurbished.

The store, which will be based inside the old linen warehouse, is currently being fitted out.

There are  signs on the storefront which read ‘opening soon’ and ‘hiring now’.

The business is owned by brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine and was founded in Lymm in 2011.

As well as a branch in Lymm, The Coffee House also has a shop in Golden Square and is set to open one in Stockton Heath in the near future.

Talking of the Coffee House’s unique approach, co-founder Chris said: "We pride ourselves on creating that authentic local coffee shop experience.

“Our customers aren't just customers, they're part of our community.

“Whether they're here to work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a moment to themselves, they know they'll be welcomed with a warm smile and their favourite cup of coffee."
