A WARRINGTON worker firm has been shortlisted in the final of the Best Businesswoman Awards 2024.

The awards are designed to recognise the achievements of female entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries.

This year, judges have been impressed by the creativity, tenacity, and ‘excelling business acumen’ demonstrated by the finalists.

Kelly McPhilbin, managing director at NXGEN Lifting, is one of the talented women shortlisted.

NXGEN Lifting is based at Gemini Trade Park and is a nationwide hire provider of next generation mini cranes and glass lifting accessories to the construction industry.

It has recently upscaled to a new, larger depot three times the size (from 1250sqft to 4400sqft), giving the staff a better working environment and nicer facilities.

Speaking of being shortlisted, Kelly said: “I am thrilled and humbled to be selected as a finalist for these prestigious awards.

The Gala Awards night will be held at the Hilton Syon Park in London on October 11, 2024, when the winners of each category will be announced.
