A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash on a main road over the weekend.
Police, firefighters and paramedics attended the incident on Kingsway North in Howley on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services attended at around 4.30pm following reports of a crash involving two Audi cars.
One of the drivers was taken to hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 4.30pm on Saturday, July 6, police were called to a collision on Kingsway North, Warrington.
“Officers attended and found there had been a collision between two cars – a white Audi Q3 and a grey Audi A3.
“Fire and ambulance services attended the scene and one of the drivers was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The road was closed while officers managed the incident, and the scene was cleared by 7pm.”
