A KITCHEN fire broke out in a block of flats in Warrington.
Firefighters were called to Arpley Street at midnight on Sunday.
Residents had already evacuated the building.
Firefighters discovered there had been a small fire in a kitchen which was out on arrival.
Crews used a high pressure fan to clear the light smoke logging.
One fire engine from Warrington attended the incident.
