VANDALS torched grassland in Padgate.
Firefighters were called to Whitchurch Close at around 5.20pm last night, Friday.
A water backpack was used to extinguish two small fires in the open.

Firefighters say the fires are believed to have been started deliberately.
One fire engine from Burtonwood dealt with the incident.
