THERE has been a large fall in the number of people voting in Warrington in this year's General Election.
Counting is under way at Birchwood Tennis Centre.
But the early turnout figures are in.
The turnout is 55.3 per cent for Warrington North, and it is 62.7 per cent for Warrington South.
In the 2019 General Election, turnout was 64.6 per cent in Warrington North, and it was 72 per cent in Warrington South.
Both then have suffered a significant almost 10 per drop from the numbers voting almost five years ago,
