A POLICE helicopter was deployed to find the suspect of reported car theft in Woolston.
Police officers became aware of a suspected stolen car in the Manchester Road area this afternoon, Thursday.
Officers attempted to stop the car, but the driver made off before decamping on Bridge Lane, Woolston.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "The police helicopter was deployed to the scene and a 20-year-old man was located and arrested.
"He is currently being held in police custody assisting officers with their enquires."
