Crews tackle late night fire near to golf course
CREWS tackled a fire near to a golf course last night, Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the incident off Birchwood Way at around 9.45pm.
On arrival, they found the fire was situated near a golf course in a wooded area so the crew travelled on foot to it.
It involved refuse and was extinguished by firefighters with water.
One fire engine from Warrington attended.
