UPDATE: CHESHIRE Police has confirmed that Jasmine has now thankfully been found safe and well.

ORIGINAL: POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for help from members of the public in finding a teenage girl reported missing from home.

Officers from Cheshire Police searching for missing 14-year-old Jasmine Leather, from Widnes, say they are growing ‘increasingly concerned for her welfare’.

Jasmine was reported missing after she was last seen on Tuesday, July 2, at around 3pm in the Lea Street area of Widnes.

She is described as being 5’ 2” tall with long dark hair, and she may be wearing grey Nike shorts, a pink Nike top, and a pair of New Balance white/grey trainers.

The force believes that she may have travelled to Runcorn.

PC Rahman said: “Officers are conducting a number of enquiries to locate Jasmine, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“I would urge anyone who thinks they have seen Jasmine since she went missing to contact us.

“The same goes for anyone who thinks they know where she may be or has any CCTV or dashcam footage which could aid our search.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Jasmine to ask her to get in touch with us.”
