A 43-YEAR-OLD man was found dead at his home in Warrington, a court heard.
An inquest into the death of Trevor Kachel was formally opened at Warrington Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.
Here, it was heard how on June 23, Mr Kachel’s colleagues were unable to contact him so became concerned.
As a result one of his friends attended his address on Central Way in the town centre. Here, they discovered that Mr Kachel was sadly dead.
Police and ambulance crews attended his home and confirmed his death.
Warrington Coroner’s Court heard how prior to Mr Kachel’s death, he had been ‘badly affected’ by the loss of his mother.
The senior coroner for Cheshire Jacqueline Devonish concluded that Mr Kachel’s death was one of suicide.
She extended her condolences to his family and friends.
