AN inquest into the death of a 22-year-old man has been adjourned to allow for further evidence to be gathered.

Kevin Hodgson sadly died at Warrington Hospital on December 29 last year after collapsing into cardiac arrest.

At a previous hearing, Warrington Coroner’s Court heard how prior to collapsing at his home in Newton-le-Willows, Mr Hodgson had ‘began to shake’.

During this hearing, due to his cause of death being unnatural, senior coroner for Cheshire Jacqueline Devonish formally opened an inquest.

The inquest was set to take place this month, but on Wednesday, Ms Devonish adjourned the inquest until September.

She said that this was to allow for further evidence to be gathered and that the inquest had been opened ‘due to concerns raised by the family’.
